And the international environment is complicating it even more. \n\n \n\nJoin us on Wednesday\, July 27th when Professor Theresa Saboni-Helf\, PhD\, an international energy expert & Georgetown professor\, will share insights on how energy\, technology & governments intersect. Including discussing questions like: \n\n	How does the quest for adequate energy shape international relations?\n	How do policies\, technologies and markets interact in the realm of energy?\n	How do states balance among technological risk\, environmental risk\, economic risk and political risk?\n\nTheresa Sabonis-Helf is a Professor of the Practice in the Georgetown School of Foreign Service Master's Degree program\, and serves as the Inaugural Chair of the Science\, Technology and International Affairs concentration. She is a frequent advisor to the US Department of State and USAID and is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Emory University\, and an MPA in International Affairs from Princeton University.\n\n \n\nThe event is virtual\, begins at 6:30pm EST and is free to the public (with a suggested donation of $20).
