This course functions as one of the mandatory 40 hour courses in healthcare interpreter training in order to receive certification from the Commission for Healthcare Interpreters.\n\n \n\nSome of the benefits for taking the Bridging the Gap training are:\n\n\n \n Prepare you to ensure better communication between patients and healthcare providers\n \n Provide you the tools to be a competent interpreter\n \n Increase your marketability to healthcare administrators and coordinators of interpreting services who prefer to work with qualified interpreters\n \n Improvement of clinical care occurs because trained interpreters are being used\n \n Quality of care for Limited English Proficiency patients is improved when using professional Interpreters \n\n \n\nThe next course will take place March 2-4 & 9-11 in Cincinnati. \n\n \n\nAttached you will find more information on Bridging the Gap training.
