DESCRIPTION:Cincinnati has emerged as a creative hub with a number of important agencies housed in its city center. Artrepreneur: Where Passion Becomes Possible\, hosted by multiple organizations in a collaborative effort\, is an event that uses that community as a foundation and builds on it. \n\nArtrepreneur is a new venture to recognize the contributions of artistic entrepreneurs and small business owners during Small Business Week. The event - organized by BBB Cincinnati with help from SCORE\, SORTA\, the Small Business Administration and the City of Cincinnati - will have light bites and refreshments\, and will offer a networking hour that includes access to organizations with resources for small businesses of all types. After the keynote presentation\, attendees will be given a Cincinnati Bell Connector pass and a map to participating businesses along the streetcar route where they can learn more about the creative field. \n\nArtists and creatives across the city hoping to learn from and engage with industry insiders are invited to attend Artrepreneur: Where Passion Becomes Possible\; it will be held Thursday\, May 3 at Reztark Design Studio\, 601 Main St. from 3-4:30 p.m. \n\nCo-founder of Brave Berlin and BLINK organizer Steve McGowan will give the keynote speech\, talking about his personal success and struggles as a small\, creative business owner. He'll also reflect on the surreal success of BLINK Cincinnati.
