\nPrior to The Business Backer\, Amy spent 19 years as Vice President\, Human Resources for MedPlus\, a software development company in the healthcare industry. \; During that time\, Amy created\, built and ran their HR department and grew the employee base from 7 employees to almost 500 employees\, led the HR team through acquisition by $8 billion publically traded international healthcare company\, and managed through the due diligence process associated with several multi-million and billion dollar acquisitions and divestitures across several divisions and companies.
\nAmy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. \; She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management. \; Amy is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has also earned a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law and an Advanced Certificate in Employment Law.
