For the last 2 years\, Amy has been the owner of a small business HR Consulting company called Transformational Human Resources Consulting.  Through this company\, Amy offers expertise in many areas\, including Talent Acquisition\, Talent Management\, Compensation Design and Administration\, Benefits Design and Administration\, Policy Development and Handbook Design\, Employee Relations\, Training and Development\, Payroll\, and more to small businesses across Cincinnati.\n\n \n\nShe spent 4 years consulting with The Business Backer\, a fast growing financial services company\, successfully creating\, building and running their HR department.  During that time she grew the employee base by 150%\, led the HR team through an acquisition by an $800 million publically traded international financial services company\, sourced an executive team that led to over 70% growth in revenue\, reduced voluntary turnover by over 60% between 2014 and 2015\, reduced average time to hire by 50% (less than 30 days!)\, and reduced average ramp-up time by decreasing the onboarding process from several weeks to one week\, resulting in significant cost savings.\n\n \n\nPrior to The Business Backer\, Amy spent 19 years as Vice President\, Human Resources for MedPlus\, a software development company in the healthcare industry.  During that time\, Amy created\, built and ran their HR department and grew the employee base from 7 employees to almost 500 employees\, led the HR team through acquisition by $8 billion publically traded international healthcare company\, and managed through the due diligence process associated with several multi-million and billion dollar acquisitions and divestitures across several divisions and companies.\n\nAmy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.  She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management.  Amy is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has also earned a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law and an Advanced Certificate in Employment Law.\n\n \n\nAmy was selected as one of the Cincinnati Business Courier's Forty Under 40 which recognizes young professionals for their achievements and their potential for future success.  In addition\, Amy was nominated for a Health Care Heroes Award for innovation in benefit plans.  Amy is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Human Resource Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
