Young explorers can try something new and build confidence all weekend long through activities like rock climbing, fishing, golf, basketball, yoga and more!

On Saturday morning, lace up for the Outdoor Adventure Expo 5K & 10K - a timed, family-friendly walk/run along Winton Woods' scenic, paved Harbor Loop Trail. Following the races is the Kids Adventure Dash, a 0.1-mile sprint from the playground to the finish line for ages 8 and under. Participants in the 5K & 10K receive a custom medal, t-shirt and other Great Parks swag, while Kids Adventure Dash participants receive their own special prizes.

The Green & Healthy Schools Symposium brings together educators, school leaders, students, health agencies, city officials, and community partners to explore bold, practical strategies inspired by Green Umbrella’s Green & Healthy Schools Guide. The day will focus on three high-impact approaches: expanding and maintaining vibrant school campus greenspaces, strengthening K–12 career pathways, and building wellness networks that support students and staff through partnerships and programming. Students will play a central role as speakers and panelists, highlighting the collective impact taking shape across our region. Participants will leave with a ready-to-use Green & Healthy Schools framework, real-world models, and tools to turn ideas into action—followed by a networking event to connect and collaborate. Under the baton of John Morris Russell, The Pops welcome powerhouse Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez, acclaimed for her roles in Hamilton, In the Heights and Wicked, alongside a special appearance by members of the United States Army. Before the music starts at 8 PM, your fun begins at 6:30 PM with activities including Salsa dancing and lessons from Salsa on the Square and a Family Fun Zone with crafts, face painting, Music Lab and more. The entire evening is capped off with a spectacular fireworks show by the award-winning Rozzi Fireworks.

For this special celebration of America at 250, tickets are just $10 and all active and retired military members are FREE. Plus, $5 of every ticket purchased will be donated to DAV.

Aug 15    The Island of Enchanement with Fabiola Méndez (Summermusik Festival 2026)

Cuatro virtuoso Fabiola Méndez, who counts global superstar Bad Bunny among her many fans, joins the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra for a performance of music exclusively from the “Isla del Encanto” or “Island of Enchantment”: Puerto Rico, including Ernesto Cordero’s Concierto Criollo for Cuatro, a Cincinnati premiere. Grammy-nominated composer Roberto Sierra chronicles Puerto Rico’s history of musical invention with his Symphony No. 3, La Salsa. The program will also feature works by two exciting emerging composers: Luis Quintana’s otherworldly On the Ethereal Nature of Bioluminescence and Angélica Negron’s atmospheric Campos Flotantes.

Approximately 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission.

Follow the on-screen steps to complete vehicle registration if not already achieved; it will prompt them to enter their name, phone number, email address, license plate, and then a credit card (this card will not be charged after claiming the validation, but it is necessary to complete vehicle registration)
  4. After completing registration steps, you'll see a green pop-up saying "validation claimed," confirming you have validated. You can scroll down the main metropolis page to see your subtotal as well. Successfully applied validations will be visible here
  5. Your guest is all set to drive out whenever they'd like for no charge!

2026 HISPANIC VOLUNTEER DAY
In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite our friends and partners to impact local organizations serving our Hispanic/Latino communities. Together, we beautify our schools, clean up our communities, and encourage families in Price Hill.

Hispanic Volunteer Day happens on the second Saturday of October every year. We welcome teams of volunteers from small businesses, non-profits, community groups, schools, major corporations, and local families. We have projects for individuals 12 and older; no particular experience is necessary. 

Projects will include making literacy kits, helping beautify our neighborhoods, gardening, painting, and more!  #VivamosUnidos!
