Jun 2 Pay Less, Plan Now: Mid-Year Tax Planning
Find out how to reduce your tax burden and keep more of your profits before December 31st.
Mid-Year Tax Planning for Small Business Owners
Most business owners don't think about taxes until January — and that's exactly when it's too late to do anything about them. The decisions you make right now, in the middle of the year, are what actually determine your tax bill. Waiting until year-end means leaving money on the table.
Join Lorianne Rose, CPA of Fraley Miller & Co. CPAs for a free virtual workshop that shows you what to look at today, so you're not scrambling — or surprised — come tax season.
What we'll cover:
- Mid-year tax planning — Where do you stand so far, and what should you be thinking about for the rest of the year?
- Retirement planning — Strategies to reduce your tax burden while building your financial future
- Adjusting estimated payments — Make sure you're not over- or under-paying, and avoid surprises at tax time

Jun 9 Employee Benefit Options for Small Businesses
Learn how small businesses can offer meaningful benefits, even without traditional health insurance.
Many businesses want to offer employee benefits but find traditional health insurance too costly or complex — or simply not an option right now.
This webinar cuts through the confusion with a clear, practical look at supplemental benefits: what they are, how they work, and how they can support your team when unexpected situations arise.
Whether you don't yet offer traditional health insurance or already do and want to do more for your employees, you'll walk away with a clearer picture of your options — and the confidence to make decisions that fit your budget and your team.
You'll learn how to:
- Distinguish supplemental benefits from traditional health insurance
- Understand what these benefits cover (and what they don't)
- See how they can support employees during unexpected events
- Evaluate whether supplemental benefits make sense for your business

Jun 22 Covered or Exposed? What Ohio Subcontractors Must Know About Workers' Comp
If someone gets hurt on your job site, you could be liable — even for 1099s. Learn how Ohio BWC coverage protects you.
Think being a 1099 contractor means you're off the hook for workers' comp? Think again. Many subcontractors and small business owners assume that independent contractor status eliminates the need for workers' compensation coverage — but that assumption can be costly. If you or one of your contractors gets hurt on the job, you could be held liable, regardless of how they're classified. Where general liability insurance stops, workers' comp begins. Join us for this free webinar for a practical overview of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) — what it is, who it covers, and why having the right protection matters for your business and the people working with you.
What you'll learn:
- Who needs BWC coverage — and common misconceptions about contractor exemptions
- How premiums are calculated — based on payroll, industry, and claims history
- Available discounts & wellness programs — how to lower your costs through Ohio BWC programs
- Resources for employers — where to go to apply, get help, and stay compliant
This webinar is ideal for subcontractors, independent contractors, sole proprietors, and small business owners in Ohio who work with or as 1099 workers.

Oct 3 Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE
Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober Fraggle discover the legend of the Celebration Stone – an ancient Fraggle treasure that has the power to bring everyone together for the greatest party of all time but was shattered and lost generations ago. As the Fraggles set off on an exhilarating, adventurous journey exploring exciting new caves within Fraggle Rock and even beyond, they discover magic that they never knew existed and learn to work together to unite the lost pieces of the magical artifact. Can the Fraggles succeed in their quest to bring the Celebration Stone back to Fraggle Rock so everyone can enjoy the most incredible party in Fraggle history? And, along the way, will they find something even more memorable and heartfelt than they could have ever imagined?
Featuring gorgeous new walk-around versions of the Fraggles; puppet-sized Doozers; an appearance from a giant Gorg; and exclusive, new, wondrous puppet creatures from the acclaimed Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, along with fan-favorite songs and exciting visual effects, this all-new musical stage adventure welcomes audiences on a joyful, nostalgia-filled trip to Fraggle Rock. Filled with music, laughter, and imagination, it’s an unforgettable live experience that will have Silly Creatures of all ages dancing in the aisles!
Written and directed by John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek the Musical, Stephen Schwartz’s The Secret Silk), this first-ever, live Fraggle show includes fantastic in-theater immersive special effects, audience interactivity, magical heartwarming moments, hilarious and endearing new characters, and much more to make this stage production perfect for families with young first-time theater goers and for Fraggle Rock fans who remain young at heart.
