Sarah Madrigal: Steadfast Advocate for CPS Students

The Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati, USA, honors Ms. Sarah Madrigal, MSW, LISW, a ELL School Social Worker at Cincinnati Public Schools since 2021. Ms. Madrigal’s work is truly impactful. She is known for her empathy, advocacy, and cultural competence, and for helping students and multilingual families navigate everything from school systems to community resources and life itself. ?

Ms. Madrigal believes that education gave her the tools, but her heart for service has always been the driving force. Whether she’s building bridges between schools and families, connecting parents to essential resources, or advocating behind the scenes, her mission remains the same: open doors, create opportunity, and remind every family that they belong.

In 2007, Ms. Madrigal earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, and in 2015, she completed her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati to further strengthen the work she had already been doing in the community, which she cares so deeply about.

The Kudos Corner, an initiative of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA and the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati Foundation (HCCUSA Foundation), seeks to acknowledge and honor the remarkable accomplishments of Latino individuals who have made a substantial impact on their communities.
