Lead Business Advisor

FULL-TIME, BILINGUAL in Spanish

The Lead Business Advisor will provide client services to clients of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA (HCCUSA) Minority Business Assistance Center. Services include in-depth business consultation to entrepreneurs in their startup businesses and ideation stages. Services will be provided in both English and Spanish, requiring the Lead Business Advisor to be fluent in both languages. Twenty-five percent of the Lead Business Advisor’s time will be spent in community outreach, training, and administrative support.

This salaried position will have an office located at the HCCUSA offices in the Alloy Growth Lab in Norwood, Ohio.

The candidate profile will ideally be a graduate of a regionally accredited 4-year college (B.A./B.S. in business administration, economics, or related field), have 5+ years business management or small business ownership experience; full bilingual written and oral fluency in Spanish and in English; demonstrated experience serving minority- and women-owned businesses across the business lifecycle stages; cultural competency for the Hispanic business community; capacity to obtain Certified Business Advisor (CBA®) credentials within 6 months of hire through Kent State University / SBDC Lead Center and technical competency for the client relationship management system for recordkeeping requirements.
