Support Business Advisor

PART-TIME, BILINGUAL in Spanish

The Support Business Advisor will extend the consultative business advising services during peak event-driven intake periods, programmatic outreach and partnership referrals for the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA (HCCUSA) Minority Business Assistance Center.

The Support Business Advisor reports to the Lead Business Advisor and works a flexible schedule based on events and volume.

Services include in-depth business consultation to entrepreneurs in their startup businesses and ideation stages. Services will be provided in both English and Spanish, requiring the Lead Business Advisor to be fluent in both languages.

This position will have an office located at the HCCUSA offices in the Alloy Growth Lab in Norwood, Ohio. The candidate profile will ideally be a graduate of a regionally accredited 4-year college (B.A./B.S. in business administration, economics, or related field), have 3+ years business management or small business ownership experience; full bilingual written and oral fluency in Spanish and in English; demonstrated cultural competency for the Hispanic business community; capacity to obtain Certified Business Advisor (CBA®) credentials within 6 months of hire through Kent State University / SBDC Lead Center and technical competency for the client relationship management system for recordkeeping requirements.
